New Online Social Media Course For Charities

social media for community groups and charitiesWould you like to gain a better understanding of how you can tap into the growing phenomenon of social media from the comfort of your own home?

I am delighted to announce a new partnership with online social media trainers We Teach Social. Among the courses on offer, I will be teaching a comprehensive six-week course aimed at charities, community groups and those interested in using social media to raise awareness of a cause.

This course is tailored to both complete beginners and those who are more familiar with social media. In week 1 you will be  introduced to the basic principles of social media and how it can benefit your organization. Social media novices  will be familiarized with the main social media platforms and how charities use them. For those more experienced, you will get the opportunity to delve deeper into case studies and best practices and review and benchmark your existing efforts. The following five weeks will then focus on building and maintaining your social media strategy.

What You Will Learn

Over the course of six weeks, you will be given the tools and knowledge to develop and run a successful social media presence in order to:

  • Increase your visibility online

  • Connect with potential and existing donors

  • Communicate your cause
